Today, the Berry Telecom Group’s Board of Directors is delighted to announce that a new Member of the Board has been appointed. Kerry Hill, formerly Berry’s HR Manager has been promoted to HR Director, taking the number of members to five.
Kerry joined Berry in March 2019 and since her arrival has led significant positive change in the organisation specifically regarding people strategies and staff wellbeing. Kerry’s appointment demonstrates the Company’s commitment to its’ people with HR now being represented at board level.
On announcing the appointment, Simon Langford, Co-owner and Sales Director said:
“In the past couple of years our team has expanded rapidly and it’s been very important to us that we retain staff engagement. We now want to have the right structure and processes in place to make sure our team is supported and has the right tools to reach their potential. Since Kerry joined earlier this year, we have already seen the huge value she brings to the table with her experience and business acumen. On behalf of the other Directors, we warmly welcome her on board.”
Kerry is responsible for the full HR remit of Berry, including a greater focus on talent retention, management training and leadership development. Kerry brings to the Board almost 20 years of HR experience and has previously held roles with BAe Systems Euroflorist and Hillier Nurseries.
