Berry Telecom has been announced as a finalist at this year’s Solent Business Awards in two categories, SME of the Year and Best Company to Work For.
As one of six companies that have made it through to the Gala Awards on Thursday 18th October 2018, Berry will be facing stiff competition against some of the best performing companies in the South of England.
Berry Co-founder Simon Langford said:“We’re absolutely thrilled to be named alongside some of the best businesses in the region. Over the last few years we have won several industry awards, but to be named as a leading business in our region is really gratifying. We’re so looking forward to the awards evening and to meet with other exceptional business leaders from across the Solent.”
Berry Telecom was established in 2011 by Simon Langford and Paul Hallam who were previously working for another business telecoms organisation. Simon and Paul wanted to create an alternative model that focused specifically on delivering outstanding customer service by providing a work environment that staff love being a part of.
Finance Director Jo-Anne Udy joined shortly after, and more recently Andrew Legg was appointed as Technical Director. The four directors have grown the business year on year and in just seven years now employ almost 100 people based across two locations Salisbury and Whiteley.
In 2017, Berry took the decision to switch its main hardware brand to Ericsson-LG and has since seen demand increase hugely. The last year has seen their sales team double in size and win several industry awards with Comms Dealer Magazine, Ericsson-LG and Pragma.
