Earlier this year the KingsWood Day Nursery in Alderholt approached Berry Telecom with a dilemma they were facing with their phone system. Persistent power outages and high volumes of calls at peak times was affecting their service levels on the phone. The phone system was a vital tool in their operation enabling parents and guardians and the nursery to communicate with each other throughout the day.
After an initial consultation, Berry decided to donate a phone system– as part of its commitment to the local community to improve communications among those that need them the most.
KingsWood Day Nursery owner Michelle Joseph said:
“Our new phones and fittings will make a
huge difference to the safety and efficiency at KingsWood. We have recently
suffered unexpected power cuts which have resulted in no phone lines or
internet. Now Berry has worked their magic in installing fantastic systems which will not only help us
in the event of power cuts, but in the day-to-day running of KingsWood.
When a parent phones KingsWood, we can
transfer the parent straight to their child’s key worker. Fast, efficient and
ssssooooo easy. All rooms caring for children aged 0-8
years now have telephones, meaning a call can not be missed. But fear not if
the call is missed due to us all engaged in learning and play, as the personal
answer phone message is really cute and we can retrieve a message or telephone
number easy peasy. This is all thanks to Berry Telecom.
Love Everyone Big and Small at
KingsWood xx ”
Berry’s Technical Director Andrew Legg said:
“From time to time we’re
able to lend a hand to local causes that need some extra assistance which is a
nice part of the job. It means the staff at the nursery can better spend their time doing what they do best, looking after a great bunch of kids. They can have peace of mind that Berry will look after their communications network. It was a real pleasure to be involved.”
