Caring for some of the poorest people in Bulgaria
Each Christmas The Trussell Trust takes thousands of shoeboxes filled with presents to people of all ages, ranging from Roma people living in freezing conditions and struggling to survive, to abandoned and orphaned children living in state care. Last year the Trust hand-delivered thousands of shoeboxes to: orphanages, Roma communities, women’s refuges, prisoner’s children, housebound elderly people, rural schools and refugee centres.
This year the staff at Berry Telecom wanted to help and have so far provided the below shoe boxes that will be sent to the charity today. The boxes include a range of items including toiletries, clothes, stationary, toys and other useful items that aren't usually easily obtained by the recipients.
