It will mean that from the start of the upcoming season the name of Berry Telecom will be on the front of the home shirt and at the heart of local football. Berry will also retain its prominent advertising board that bisects the family stand, as well as becoming the sponsors of the Main Stand.
The partnership brings together one of the fastest-growing telecoms companies in the UK and a football club with great heritage and aspirations.
Berry Telecom have won Sales Team of the Year for the past two years at the UK Comms Dealer Awards and this year won Best Company To Work For.
Berry co-owner Simon Langford spoke of his delight at the deal.
“This is a knockout combination. Berry and Salisbury FC are very like-minded and both have huge plans for the future,” he said.
“We here at Berry are hugely proud to be Salisbury FC's main club sponsor from the start of 2017-2018 season.”
Added Simon: “We feel this is a great pairing, not only because our head office is five minutes away from the Ray Mac Stadium, but because we feel that we can really help push the club forward and inevitably back up the leagues to where the club belong.”
Jeremy Harwood, Salisbury FC Director, commented:
“We are happy that following their initial interest in the club last season, Berry Telecom have elected to give us more support for the future.”
“It is actions like this from companies like Berry sponsoring the club which enable us to offer football through the community to all ages, as well as helping the first team to move to the next level.”
Last week at the 2017 Comms Dealer Sales & Marketing Awards, Berry Telecom won the Best Place to Work Award beating 9 other major telecoms industry finalists. Berry was also highly commended in the Sales Team of the Year Award in the large company category.
Last year Berry purchased and moved into its new offices Berry Group House in Old Sarum in Salisbury – as part of this move, Berry has put a huge focus on the working environment for its staff. Berry co-owner Simon Langford said:
“We couldn’t be prouder of our team here at Berry HQ, so when we moved premises we wanted to give them the working environment that they deserve. We now have a work place that we’re all proud of and enjoy, one that enables us to deliver fantastic customer service and be as efficient for customers as possible. To be recognised by our industry as providing a great place to work, has been the icing on the cake. Our aim is to ensure staff are happy so that customers receive unparalleled levels of service.”
A superior network and broadband support package including out of hours cover
What does it cover?
Berry Care Assure is a support package which ensures that you can report any network (phone lines) and broadband issues to Berry any day of the week (including weekends) 24 hours a day. The Berry Support Team will then investigate the fault and put a plan in place for resolution. So if your phone lines are critical to the operation of your business, this product will give you complete peace of mind.
If the fault can’t be fixed remotely, where possible an Engineer will be dispatched the next day (Monday to Friday), or on a Monday for faults identified over the weekend. If required, Berry will organise calls to your business to be diverted to another number to ensure you have minimum down time.
Your dedicated Berry Support Team will be your single point of contact – so you won’t need to call around other suppliers trying to get your issues resolved.
By using Berry Care Assure you will avoid the normal £5 charge per diverted phone number and the subsequent higher call charges for incoming calls on a diverted line.

Berry Telecom is delighted to announce that it has been named as a finalist for two categories at the prestigious awards held each year by leading industry publication Comms Dealer Magazine.
Berry Telecom's Managing Director and Co-owner Simon Langford said:
"We're so pleased to hear that we've made it as a finalist. Having won the Sales Team of the Year Award for the past 2 years, we've never taken for granted that each year it's a tough fight to gain a place in the top list for nomination. More importantly I'm pleased for our staff, it's their hard graft and dedication that sees us able to compete on this level. As for Best Company to Work For... I'm probably biased but we're just trying to create a place that people look forward to coming into - I hope that's what we're achieving."
